CERN Accelerating science

Giordana Severino

Giordana Severino has a Master of Science degree in Electronic Engineering at Federico II university of Naples (IT). She did the master thesis after an internship at CERN for the development of a PXI Real Time Driver for an anti latch-up module Instrument carried out in the Sources, Targets & Interactions group Equipment Controls and Electronics section of CERN. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in electronic engineering at Federico II university of Naples (IT).She did the master thesis after an internship at A.M.I. Italia S.r.l. R&D division leading firm in electro-medical device. She did the analysis and optimization of the testing stage of a 26V and 1.5A circuit in a Li-Ion battery for a defibrillator. Her role in the PACMAN project is the development of a high precision PCB rotating coil system for small magnet aperture. She will follow a training in magnet manufacturing and magnetic measurement techniques in SIGMAPHI, Vannes (FR) and in PCB manufacturing and design in Eltos, Arezzo (IT).
