Solomon William Kamugasa

Solomon graduated with MSc. Geospatial and Mapping Sciences from University of Glasgow’s School of Geographical and Earth Sciences. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Wood Science and Technology from Makerere University in Kampala.
His role in PACMAN is the development and validation of an absolute Frequency Scanning Interferometry (FSI) network for the pre-alignment of CLIC components. To this end, Solomon did a 3 month secondment in Braunschweig, Germany with Etalon AG where he got practical hands-on experience with a number of metrology tools and processes. He is currently pursuing his PhD at ETH Zurich.
